If purchased after that date, any pre-existing medical conditions that might require a tour cancellation will not be valid. Once paid, insurance is NON-REFUNDABLE. The Essential plan is their basic plan, the Deluxe plan is their middle plan, and the Platinum plan is their top-of-the-line plan. There are upgrades to the Deluxe & Platinum plans that you can add to your insurance package. The Deluxe & Platinum plans offer the "cancel for any reason" option, which is not available on the Essential plan.
